It's a bit like Nixon in China - single a conservative government in
India could possibly make any headway with Pakistan. Nobody doubts
the BJP's nationalism: they will not easily be accused of selling
out the national interest. Nevertheless, there is simply a small chance
of any substantive progres being made in defusing tensions in the
subcontinent.
