I can behold the pros and cons of retaining near of our magnificent Victorian instruct buildings, and having new buildings that are more fit for recent purposes as well. But I am certain that any institute building put up under the ill-conceived PFI arrangement is exceedingly unlikely to be either fit for plan or to last long.
